The founder of Wee Keong Cranes & Trading Sdn Bhd, Mr.Khoo Kim Lai believes that cranes are the lifeblood of engineering, construction and loading workers are the biggest assets of the factory.
To successfully carry out a great and magnificent work/task, you must first ensure the “health” of crane then only able to ensure people’s safety. The founder Mr. Khoo, started from scratch and did not give up his passion for machinery because of his poverty. At the age of 18, he saw a majestic crane on the construction site accidentally, and felt its “magnificence”. Then, he decided to put himself into the crane industry by this “prestige”. From an “auto mechanic” to a “crane owner” then “partner” and lastly become an “independent enterprise founder” of Wee Keong Cranes & Trading Sdn Bhd.
In the past 20 years, Mr. Khoo has faced lots of challenges. Firstly, he encountered the financial crisis in 1997, and then his “solo flight”. After set up his own company without any team, clients and sales performance, he successfully achieved industry recognition by his strength, integrity, quality service and long track records. Nowadays Wee Keong’s cranes have been spread all over the major construction and industrial sites in West Malaysia.
It offers a large number of crane equipment for lease and all of them have met the safety standards, including mobile cranes, rough terrain cranes, truck-mounted aerial work platforms, low loader trailers, construction and industrial projects’ infrastructure equipment, etc.
